 Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Samuel Coleridge was born in 1772 in Ohery St. Mary, Devonshire. When his father died he was sent to Christ's Hospital School. Jesus College was also a place of study. In 1795, at the age of 23, he married Sara Fricker. Coleridge's published a collection of poems in 1796 and in 1797 he began a liberal political periodical called The Watchman. In that same year he met William Wordsworth and Dorothy. Together they published Lyrical Ballads. IN 1810 Wordsworth and Coleridge ended their friendship. Coleridge had neuralgic and rheumatic pains which led to his addiction to opium. He died in Highgate, where he was living with Dr. James Gillman, on July 25th, 1834. The poem that I am using by Samuel Coleridge is Frost at Midnight.
